The symposium/lecture series was established in honor of the Most Reverend Joseph A. Fiorenza, Archbishop Emeritus of Galveston-Houston, who continues to be recognized as one who fosters ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue. This year Archbishop Fiorenza celebrates the 60th anniversary of his ordination, and the Center for Faith and Culture celebrates 20 years of service to the University of St. Thomas, the Church, and the local community.
